Terms of Service

Welcome to Glow Era, a manifestation and self-improvement app published by Thalia Tech ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Glow Era mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using Glow Era, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Glow Era. If you are between 16 and the age of legal majority in your country, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App. Glow Era is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.

2. Your Account

To access certain features, you may sign in using Apple, Google, or as an anonymous guest. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the App, or are inactive for an extended period.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Glow Era on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
  • Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its content.
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws.
  • Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access the App.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some Glow Era features require a Premium subscription, sold as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • How to manage or cancel. You can cancel or change your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.
  • Free trials. If a free trial is offered, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Unused trial time is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.
  • Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies. We do not process refunds directly.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription prices for future billing periods. You will be notified before any change takes effect, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

5. User Content

Glow Era allows you to create personal content such as journal entries, manifestations, vision boards, and worry-box messages ("User Content").

  • You own your User Content. We do not claim ownership of anything you write or create in the App.
  • License to us. By using the App, you grant Thalia Tech a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, back up, and display your User Content solely to provide the App's features to you (for example, syncing entries across your devices). This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
  • You are responsible for your content. Do not store content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Use the App to harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
  • Circumvent any access controls, paywalls, or rate limits.

We reserve the right to investigate and take action against violations, including suspending your account.

7. Wellness and Self-Improvement Disclaimer

Glow Era is a self-improvement and lifestyle app. It is not a medical, psychological, or mental-health service.

  • The content in the App — including affirmations, prophecies, rituals, journal prompts, and challenges — is for inspirational and personal-growth purposes only.
  • It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, or psychiatric condition.
  • Glow Era is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, financial, or legal advice.
  • If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis or suicidal thoughts, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately.

You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

8. Content Provided by Us

Affirmations, prophecies, rituals, journal prompts, era descriptions, badges, theme designs, illustrations, and other content provided by Glow Era are owned by Thalia Tech or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or use this content outside the App without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

Glow Era uses third-party services to deliver its features:

  • Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In for authentication.
  • Apple App Store and Google Play Store for distribution and payments.
  • RevenueCat for subscription management.
  • Appwrite (self-hosted by Thalia Tech) for backend, storage, and authentication.

Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Changes to the App

We are constantly improving Glow Era. We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice. We may also release updates that you must install to keep using the App. If a change materially affects your subscription, we will notify you in advance.

11. Termination

You may stop using Glow Era at any time. You can delete your account from Profile → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data from our servers (subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the App, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or always available.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thalia Tech and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Thalia Tech harmless from any claim, liability, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App will be resolved in the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or by other reasonable means before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded Glow Era from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

  • These Terms are between you and Thalia Tech, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • In the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
